Chemical Dependency Counseling

Everyday life is usually complex and confusing. Many activities, regrets, and expectations vie for attention, and there doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day to fit it all in and solve all the problems. Life can be incredibly complex and confusing when a mind-altering substance is also a part.

Our licensed Chemical dependency counselors help with the challenges of drug dependency and break the cycle of addiction, guiding patients towards a path of recovery.

Chemical dependency counseling involves therapeutic techniques with patients in individual and group settings. Our counselors systematically analyze the background and current information, explore possible solutions, and develop an integrated treatment plan for you to gain your life back.

Kimmy Lake

Chemical Dependency Counselor

I have worked at Northwest Integrated Health since 2015 in multiple departments including Hub and Spoke and Behavioral Health. I’m the Clinical Supervisor for the Lakewood and Puyallup locations with over 20 years of experience in Behavioral Health, a BSC in Addiction Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a professional license for Chemical Dependency since 2013.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, camping, fishing, hiking, and the outdoors. I like to give back to the community by volunteering at the local food bank and other agencies.
